Welcome to "Sands on the Beach"
Bed & Breakfast.
Owned and operated by Robert and
Bruce, "Sands on the Beach" was completed early in 2002 and
has been specifically designed as a B&B.
This magnificent absolute beachfront
establishment sits on Holloways Beach with breathtaking
200 degree views of the Coral Sea.
The entire ground floor of this
beautiful home is solely for the use of guests.

beach, relax in the Pavilion and
gaze out to the ocean while sipping a drink or simply laze by
the pool.
Enjoy a hearty continental / tropical
breakfast on the wide verandah looking out to the ocean. Do
some beach fishing right at the front door with tackle and bait
supplied by us. Hop on one of our bicycles and take a ride around
our village.
Stroll just a short distance up
the beach to "Coolums" Restaurant and "Strait on the beach"
café.
We are only 10 minutes north of
the Cairns CBD, the gateway to the world heritage wet tropics
where the rainforest meets the reef. Come and share our piece
of this paradise with us.

Location
|
|
|
|
 |
"Sands on the Beach" is situated
at 32 Hibiscus Lane with absolute beach frontage, and is only
a short walk along the beach to "Coolums" Restaurant and "Strait
on the Beach" Cafe and Bar. It is also within walking distance
from all of the other facilities.
|
|
Holloways Beach is 11kms north of the Cairns CBD. This translates
to 10 minutes from The Cairns CBD and only 5 minutes North of
Cairns International Airport. The beauty of Holloways Beach
is that it is still basically residential, with only one resort
complex. It has a village atmosphere.
The beach has two restaurants, two
bars, cafes, bottle shop, newsagent, and small supermarket.
A bus service runs regularly from the beach into Cairns.
Cairns is one of Australia's most
popular tourist destinations, right in the heart of Queensland's
tropical north coast.
